Since everyone is sharing, I thought I'd join in!
I got married in April which is hardly beach or wedding season. But that actually worked to our advantage. My husband and I knew we wanted a beach wedding since it's our favorite place to be (and where he said he just knew that I was the one for him!) We started collecting seashells from the beach whenever we'd go. I cleaned them w/ bleach and water and sat them in a bucket for a few months. When the wedding day came our centerpieces were clear hurricaine vases with sand in the bottom and our seashells in them. We did end up buying a bag of fancy seashells at a craft store to mix in with them. But it was a nice, personal touch to the wedding. People could take them home with them, but of course we ended up w/ a few and so we have them decorating our house.
The cutest one to me was our wedding party centerpice. It was the same idea with sand and shells in the bottom (and obviously bigger) with a cake topper in the middle of a bride and groom dancing. It was so adorable it looked like they (the cake topper) was dancing in the sand and shells. A lot of our guests took pictures of it. I'll post a picture with this for you to see. This is an upclose shot, but I'll see if I can get a better one later.

What a wonderful centerpiece idea!
1Very cool ideas.
My brother attended a beach wedding, the ceremony and reception was at the beach area.
2All the guests got t shirts to wear, so no one could crash the bar! lol
what a cute idea!
3I love the personal touch of the sea shells (It makes it really extra special because, you all collected them. Awwww, very sweet) being used as center pieces and gifts for the guests. I can't wait to see the above picture larger. Thanks for sharing.
