I thought I would share some of the ideas we are using for our wedding. I am so glad I have the forum to share/ brag.

We are having an outdoor wedding in July, so obviously it's gonna be hot. Well, you know the fans they pass out at the fair that are made of basically poster board and tongue depressors? That's where I got my inspiration for our programs. Our colors are silver and gold, so I'm spray painting some of the sticks silver and some gold. The top part will have the program printed on it on one side and a picture of us on the other. (There will be two pieces of poster board so that the stick is surrounded.) We will then cut the top part out in the shape of a bell! So as everyone is fanning themselves it looks like there are bells ringing.

We are on a pretty tight budget but are inviting a lot of people to the wedding, so I was worried we were going to have to settle on things like favors that were cheap and not that cute. WELL, I found a website that makes customized stickers that go on the bottom of Hershey's Kisses!! It's only $5 for a sheet of 100 stickers. Actually my profile picture is the one that will be on the the stickers. Around the picture it has our names and the date. The service was incredible too-- the website is kind of difficult, so I called the number listed. They sent me a proof in about an hour to approve! Here's the website:
